Robert is a machine made for helping human being. Roborts can not work without our comand. In 1954 George devol invented  the first digitally operated and a programmable robot called the Unimate. In 1956, Devol and his partner Joseph Engelberger formed the world's first robot company. In 1961, the first industrial robot, Unimate, went online in a General Motors automobile factory in New Jersey. 

Now days scientist had invented many roborts for different - different purpose like cooking,  dancing,  serving ETC. 

Now days the best robot is SOPHIA . Sophia is a social humanoid robot developed by Hong Kong based company Hanson Robotics. Sophia was activated on February 14, 2016, and made its first public appearance at South by Southwest Festival in mid-March 2016 in Austin, Texas, United States. It is able to display more than 50 facial expressions
